Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd followed up to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat had been defeated in the first second. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. This left a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round, via a TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then moved to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability took down McGill her first time, and she was able to stop her in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with her catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd did not make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she ended her fight with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last bout for the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina with a ground and pound victory during the second round. She remained dominant and picked up a more impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round as well as a win of the night's bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. The two fights were unbeatable fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough ending her win streak. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round of UFC on ESPN 7. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
