LadyLady Gaga is an American pop artist, songwriter, and actress with an estimated net worth of $320 million. Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Gerotta began her performance career as a musical theater and burlesque artist in the East Village in New York, seemingly attempting to follow in the footsteps of night club performers gone stars such as Bette Midler or Madonna. She struggled for a number of years, and finally started to get her feet moving in 2005 when she recorded her debut album and creating songs for other artists including Britney Spears, Fergie, and the Pussycat Dolls. Although the album she released "The Fame" was not a huge success in the early days, "Just Dance", the single that debuted from the album, was a massive hit just five months later. She had been relentlessly touring Europe and the smaller clubs in the US. In 2009, several tracks from the album were regularly playing on radio stations. For all the hard work she put into it she was awarded multiple Grammy nominations, and two Grammy Awards. Since the time she began, she's continued to churn out excellent music and create headlines. Her appearances at awards shows get a lot of attention since she is an active social activist as well as a naturally a showman.
